The back of the banknote displays the Old Yerevan building and a carriage with a driver pulled by two horses. This 136 x 72 mm paper bill has a solid security thread and a windowed security thread with a demetallized AMD 1000. It also has a watermark which consists of an image of Yeghishe Charents and an electrotype 1000.
