The Armenia 5,000 dram banknote is part of the family of notes issued in 2012 with the addition of Kinegram holographic stripes. This particular note is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated. The obverse of the note features Armenian national poet Hovhannes Tumanyan. In the background is an architecture and on the right is an open book. The reverse depicts a painting of the Lory mountains by Martiros Saryan. Aside from the Kinegram holographic stripes, this 143 x 72 mm paper banknote has a solid security thread and a windowed security thread with a demetallized AMD 5000. Furthermore, it has watermarks showing an image of Hovhannes Tumanyan and an electrotype 5000.
