The Armenia 50 Dram Banknote is part of the family of notes issued in 1998 with new designs and enhanced security features. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated. On the left of the banknotes obverse is a portrait of 20th-century classical music composer Aram Khachatryan who composed the Anthem of the Armenian SSR. Featured on the left is the Opera House building in Yerevan. The reverse of the banknote depicts male and female dancers with swords performing a scene from the Gayaneh ballet. A musical score and Mount Ararat are also featured on the reverse of this note. This 122 x 65 mm paper bill has a solid security thread. It also has a Coat of Arms pattern as its watermark.
