There may be widespread, unfounded claims that circulating currencies such as the Indonesian rupiah, Iraqi dinars and/or Vietnamese dong will increase in value relative to the US dollar. Banknote World wishes to warn potential purchasers of such circulating banknotes against expecting that these currencies will be revalued or otherwise increase significantly in value as a currency. Banknote World sells such currencies as collectibles at prices that are already above their face value given the quality preservation and authentication services we provide. Purchasers are advised that while the value of banknotes as collectibles may go up and down based on collector interest, significant increases in value as a circulating currency are NOT likely
Banknote World does not guarantee any future price or value with respect to any banknote that it sells. By purchasing circulating or non-circulating currency from us, you confirm your understanding that Banknote World sells banknotes as collectibles and that the purchasing of banknotes for any reasons other than for collecting purposes is highly speculative. You also confirm you understanding that Banknote World does not guarantee any future price or value with respect to any banknote that it sells. You agree that your purchase of any banknotes and/or coins from Banknote World is for collectible purposes only. The T.A.P. Seal can only be found on authenticated banknotes encased in a collector grade mylar sleeve. The T.A.P. The Australia 10 Dollar banknote is part of the family of notes issued in 2013. It comes in uncirculated condition and TAP authenticated. Its obverse features bush poet and writer Andrew Barton Banjo Paterson wearing a hat and a microprinting of some lines of his The Man From Snowy River. The obverse also shows a horseman holding a whip and reigns, running horses referred to as brumbies, a windmill, and the logo of Waltzing Matilda which is the countrys well-known ballad and dubbed as the unofficial national anthem. The reverse of the banknote depicts a windmill, a bullock team carrying wool, and a microprinting of lines from No Foe Shall Gather Our Harvest by Paterson. Another notable element is a portrait of socialist poet and journalist Mary Gilmore as well as her 1957 painting by William Dobell. The 137 x 65 mm polymer banknote has a shadow image of the countrys Coat of Arms as its watermark.
