Australia 5 Dollars Banknote, 2016, P-62a, UNC, Polymer, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

The 5 Australian dollar note is the first note to be introduced in the 2016 series. Its obverse side features Queen Elizabeth II. Its reverse side showcases the New Parliament House in Canberra. Both sides of the note have a Prickly Moses wattle and Eastern Spinebill thread. Because the note is printed on a polymer substrate, it does not have a security thread nor a watermark. However, it measures 130 mm long and 65 mm wide, and it has a tactile feature to aid the visually impaired. The note bears the signatures of Reserve Bank Governor Glenn Roberts Stevens and Secretary to the Treasury John A. Fraser.
