Australia 5 Dollars Banknote, 2016, P-62a, UNC, Polymer

The first banknote in the 2016 series, the 5 Australian dollar banknote has a tactile feature and a top-to-bottom window security feature. The note features the Prickly Moses wattle and the Eastern Spinebill bird on both sides of the note. The obverse side highlights a middle-aged Queen Elizabeth II and the reverse side features a picture of the New Parliament House and the Parliaments forecourt mosaic. The note has no security thread and no watermark, but it is made out of polymer and measures 130 mm by 65 mm.
