The grey 1 manat note is part of the first series of banknotes issued by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. This note bears the year 2017 and the signature of Elman Rustamov, the Chairman of the Central Bank. Its obverse side contains Azeri text, musical notes, and traditional musical instruments like the tar, the kamancha, and the daf. A carpet pattern is shown in the background.
