Bahamas 1/2 dollar banknote from L.1974 (1984 ND) with a pick number P-42 is in uncirculated (UNC) condition and features Queen Elizabeth II.


The Bahamas half-a-dollar banknote was released by the Central Bank of the Bahamas in 1984. This green banknote features Queen Elizabeth II wearing Grand Duchess Vladimir’s tiara and the golden jubilee necklace of Queen Victoria. The obverse also shows straw baskets and the map of the Bahamas. The reverse of the note depicts bananas, the coat of arms of the country, and Sister Sarah Johnson in Nassau market with fish and fruit. The paper bill bears a solid security thread and a watermark that reveals a Spanish galleon. It is 156 x 67 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition.
