It is a carmine note that measures 156 mm x 67 mm, is dated 1974, and bears the signature of Governor William Clifford Allen. Its obverse side features beachgoers on Paradise Beach and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Its reverse side shows a Bahamian sloop, the national coat of arms, and four boats in the Family Island regatta.
