The Bahamas 3 Dollar banknote is part of the family of notes issued between 1974-1984. This banknote has been TAP authenticated by Banknote World experts. The obverse side of the paper bill features Queen Elizabeth II wearing the tiara of the Grand Duchess Vladimir and the Golden Jubilee necklace of Queen Victoria. The banknote also shows sunbathers on Paradise beach and a map. The reverse of the 156 x 67 mm paper banknote depicts four boats in Family Island regatta, a Bahamian sloop, and the countrys Coat of Arms. Security attributes of the bill include a sand dollar as its registration device, a solid security thread, and a watermark which shows a Spanish galleon.
