Bahamas 5 Dollars Banknote, 2013, P-72A, UNC, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

The Bahamas 5 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of the Bahamas in 2013. Its obverse side features a gold foil galleon, a map of the Bahamas, a statue of Columbus, and a portrait of Cecil Wallace-Whitfield, the founder of the Free National Movement party. Its reverse side portrays Junkanoo dancers. Security features of the note include a solid security thread, a 3-mm windowed security thread with demetalized BAHAMAS, a sand dollar registration device, and a watermark that reveals Cecil Wallace-Whitfield with an electrotype 5 in a sand dollar and De La Rues Cornerstones. The banknote is 156 mm x 67 mm in size and is signed by Central Bank Governor Wendy M. Craigg. This banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP Authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
