The Bahamas 50 Dollar banknote was released by the Central Bank of the Bahamas in 2006. It comes in a combination of orange, brown, and green. Its obverse features a gold foil bird, the map of the country, and a portrait of Roland T. Symonette. The reverse of the note depicts the Central Bank building headquarters in Nassau with flags and palm trees. The note also shows the coat of arms of the Bahamas. The paper bill bears a solid security thread and a 3-mm windowed security thread with a demetallized BAHAMAS. It also carries a watermark that reveals Roland T. Symonette with an electrotype 50. The banknote measures 156 x 67 mm and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
