This uncirculated 50 Bahamian dollar note is TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts. Its obverse side contains English text, the Parliament House, a frangipani flower, a SPARK Orbital OVI flying bird, and Roland Theodore Symonette, the first Premier of the Bahamas. Its reverse side is vertically oriented and features the Central Bank building in Nassau. This note is the first note in the world with a Rapid windowed security thread on a Durasafe substrate. The Rapid security thread has a demetalized 50 and sand dollar printed on it. Its watermarks are Roland T. Symonette and an electrotype 5, and its registration device is a sand dollar. The note bears the signature of Central Bank Governor John A. Rolle.
