The Bahrain half dinar is part of the banknote series issued in 1973 - 1998 with minor changes in colors and some security features. This particular banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty. The national emblem centers on its obverse and a blind weaver at a loom in Bani Jamra Village Handicraft Center is depicted at the right. On the banknotes reverse is Aluminium Bahrain or the ALBA smelter. The 142 x 71 mm paper bill has a 1-mm wide windowed security thread. Signed by Sheikh Khalifa, the Bahrain half dinar banknote has a watermark that reflects the head of an Arabian oryx.
