The Bahrain half dinar banknote was issued by the Bahrain Monetary Agency in 1998 under the 1973 Law. It comes in a combination of dark brown and violet colors. Its obverse is in Arabic and features the coat of arms depicting a brown shield. It also reflects a blind weaver at a loom in Bani Jamra Village Handicraft Center. The reverse of the paper bill is in English and features the Aluminum Bahrain (Alba) smelter. The note contains security thread varieties and an Arabian oryx watermark. It measures 142 x 71 mm and is signed by Sheikh Khalifa bin Sulman al Kalifa. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
