The Bahrain half dinar banknote is part of the 1998 issues of the Bahrain Monetary Agency under the 1973 Law. The note has hints of dark brown and violet. Its obverse is in Arabic and features the coat of arms depicting a brown shield. It also shows a blind weaver at a loom in Bani Jamra Village Handicraft Center. The reverse is in English and features the Aluminum Bahrain (Alba) smelter. The note contains security thread varieties and an Arabian oryx watermark. It measures 142 x 71 mm and is signed by Sheikh Khalifa bin Sulman al Kalifa. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
