The Bahrain half Dinar is part of the family of notes issued around 1973 - 1998 with slightly altered colors. This particular banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty. Centered on its obverse is the nations Coat of Arms which has a brown shield. The obverse side also illustrates a blind weaver at a loom in Bani Jamra Village Handicraft Center. On the reverse of the banknote is Aluminium Bahrain or the ALBA shelter. Security features of the 142 x 71 mm paper banknote include a 1.8 mm wide windowed security thread with five 5.5 mm long windows and a watermark that consists of an Arabian oryx head.
