The orange and brown half-dinar banknote from Bahrain is part of the series of banknotes issued from 2016 to 2018 under Authorization 2006/64. Though the note is dated 2006, the Central Bank of Bahrain introduced it in 2017. Its obverse side depicts the Old Bahrain Court. Its reverse side portrays the Bahrain International Circuit, a motorsport facility that hosts the annual Bahrain Grand Prix. Security features of the note include tactile lines for the visually impaired, a windowed green-to-red StarChrome security thread with demetalized CBB, and a watermark of King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa with an electrotype HALF in English and Arabic texts. The note was printed by De La Rue and bears the signature of Prime Minister Sheikh Khalifa bin Sulman al Khalifa. Its dimensions are 154 mm by 74 mm.
