The Bahrain 5 dinars banknote is part of the family of notes issued from 2008 - 2018. This banknote has a birthday serial number and in uncirculated condition. The obverse of the banknote features Shaikh Isa House in Muharraq. The Sharqi fortress in Hunainiya valley is also notable. On its reverse is the Aluminium Bahrain smelter building as well as the first oil well located in Bahrain, close to the Jebel Dukhan mountain. This 154 x 74 mm paper bill has a windowed green-to-red StarChrome security thread that has a demetallized CBB. As an added security feature, the Bahrain 5 dinars banknote has a watermark which consists of a portrait of the Monarch and King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, an electrotype 5, and the notes denomination in Arabic text.
