The Bangladesh 1 Taka is part of the family of notes issued in 1982 to commemorate the 40th Year Anniversary of Victory of Bangladesh. This particular banknote comes in uncirculated condition. The obverse features the nations first president Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Martyrs monument which is in Savar. The back of the note depicts the bank seal and six men raising their rifles. The banknote measures 122 x 60 mm and bears a windowed security thread with a demetallized seal of the Bangladesh Bank and the denomination in Bengali character. Furthermore, it has a watermark reflecting an image of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on a pixelated background and an electrotype bank logo and 10.
