This uncirculated 1 Bangladeshi taka banknote is dated 2006 and signed by Salehuddin Ahmed. It is a red note that measures 123 mm x 60 mm. Its obverse side shows the Bangladeshi coat of arms, a magpie robin bird, and the Baitul Mukkaram (The Holy House) Mosque in Dhaka. Its reverse side shows the National Martyr’s Monument in Savar, the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban (National Parliament) building in Dhaka, and a satellite dish from the Betbunia Satellite Earth Station. Security features include a windowed security thread with demetalized Bengali text and a watermark that shows the Roaring Royal Bengal tiger with an electrotype bank logo.
