The Bangladesh 2 Taka is part of the family of notes issued in 2011 to commemorate the 40th year of independence. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated. The banknotes obverse side bears a portrait of the Father of the Nation in Bangladesh Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the National Martyrs Monument which is found in Savar, and the countrys Coat of Arms depicting a shapla flower, rice, and jute. On the banknotes reverse are flowers and the Shaheed Minar or the Martyrs monument of the Language Movement situated in Dhaka. The banknote is 100 x 60 mm in size and is made of paper. Its security attributes include a solid security thread and a watermark which reflects Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and an electrotype 2.
