The Bangladesh 2 Taka is part of the 2011 family of banknotes with a pick number P-52a to commemorate the 40th year anniversary of independence. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition. On its obverse is a portrait of the first president of Bangladesh Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. On its center is the National Martyrs monument which is located in Savar. The countrys Coat of Arms with a shapla flower, jute, and rice is also visible on the obverse. The reverse of the banknote depicts flowers and the Shaheed Minar of the Language Movement nestled in Dhaka. The Bangladesh 2 Taka which is 100 x 60 mm in size has a solid security thread and a watermark that consists of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and an electrotype 2.
