The Bangladesh 2 Taka is part of the family of notes issued in 2013 with a pick number P-52c which commemorates the 40th years of Independence. The banknote comes in uncirculated condition. The obverse side features a portrait of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman who was the countrys first president. It also depicts the National Martyrs monument which is found in Savar. The obverse also bears the national emblem with a shapla flower, rice, and jute. The reverse of the banknote shows flowers and the Shaheed Minar or the Martyrs monument of the Language Movement in Dhaka. Signed by Kabir, the 100 x 60 mm paper bill has a solid security thread and a watermark which consists of an image of Sheikh Mujibar Rahman and an electrotype 2.
