The Bangladesh 2 Taka is part of the family of banknotes issued in 2016 to commemorate the 40 years of independence. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated. The obverse side features Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Martyrs Monument located in Savar. It also displays the Coat of Arms of the country which depicts a shapla flower, rice, and jute. The Bangladesh 2 Taka has a solid security thread and a watermark that consists of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and an electrotype 2. Furthermore, it is 100 x 60 mm in size.
