This uncirculated 40 Bangladeshi taka banknote is a commemorative banknote issued by the Bangladesh Bank to commemorate the 40th Victory Anniversary of Bangladesh. It is a violet, orange, and green note that bears the signature of Atiur Rahman and measures 122 mm x 60 mm. Its obverse side features Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Martyr’s Monument in Savar. Its reverse side shows six soldiers raising their rifles and the bank logo. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized bank logo and the denomination in Bengali and a watermark that shows Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on a pixelated background with an electrotype bank logo and 40.
