The Bangladesh 5 Taka Banknote was issued by the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in 2017. Its obverse side depicts a portrait of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and a view of the National Martyr’s Monument. Its reverse side portrays the Kusumba Mosque. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark that shows Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, a pixelated background, and an electrotype bank logo. The violet banknote bears the signature of Hedayetullah Al Mamoon and measures 117 mm x 60 mm. It is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
