This uncirculated 50 Taka Bangladesh note is a commemorative banknote issued by Bangladesh Bank to commemorate the inauguration of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Tunnel. It is a yellow, purple, orange, green, and brown note that is dated 28 October 2023, bears the signature of Abdur Rouf Talukder, and measures 130 x 60 mm. Its obverse side features Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Tunnel entrance. Its reverse side shows Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Tunnel interior and a bank logo. Security features include a 2-mm wide windowed security thread with demetalized Bengali text and a watermark of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and electrotype 50.
