Bangladesh 60 Taka Banknote from 2012 with pick number P-61 is in uncirculated (UNC) condition. This commemorative banknote features the Martyr’s Monument.


The Bangladesh 60 Taka Banknote was issued by the Bangladesh Bank in 2012 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Language Movement. It has a color combination of yellow, brown, violet, orange, and blue. Its obverse features the Martyrs’ Monument of the Language Movement in Dhaka. The reverse depicts a flowering mango tree branch, five martyrs, Abul Barkat, Abdul Jabbar, Shafiur Rahman, Rafiquddin Ahmed, and Abdus Salam, the original Shaheed Minar monument, and the bank logo. The note contains a windowed security thread with demetallized bank logo and the denomination in Bengali. Its watermark reveals Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on a pixelated background and an electrotype bank logo and 50. The banknote is 130 x 60 mm in size and is signed by Atiur Rahman. This commemorative banknote is in uncirculated condition.
