The French influence has not been lost though because the province of Quebec still speaks French to this day. Today Canada is a very prosperous nation and it is a popular tourist destination as well. Their most popular attraction that draws people from all over the word is the majestic Niagara Falls. Modern cities like Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal are also major tourist and investment attractions.

The banknote is made out of Polymer and colored in green and the Queens portrait is on the very front. Someone else who is popular on Canadian banknotes is John A. Macdonald. Macdonald served as Canada's first Prime Minister and is known for his achievement such as the completion of the Canadian Pacific Railway. An interesting design note about Canadian banknotes is that you can find maple leaves on many of their current designs. In the recent years Canada has switched over to polymer banknotes due to their long term durability and functionality.
