This Barbados coin set contains all the standard circulation coins issued in 1998 under the authority of Queen Elizabeth II. The coins are engraved by Philip Nathan. The denominations in the set are 1 cent, 5 cents, 10 cents, 25 cents, and 1 dollar. The coins show the Barbadian emblem on one side. The other side of the coin shows various marine animals, symbols, and buildings like the trident, a lighthouse, a sea gull, a windmill, and a flying fish. The 1 cent coin is made of copper-plated zinc, weighs 2.5 g, and has a diameter of 19 mm. The 5 cent coin is made of brass, weighs 3.75 g, and has a diameter of 21 mm.
