The Belarus 500 Rublei is part of the family of banknotes issued in 2000 with a pick number P-27b. It comes in exceptional paper quality and has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty. The obverse side of the note features the Republican Trade Unions Palace of Culture building nestled in Minsk which is the capital of Belarus. The reverse depicts a detail of six men and women performing on the palace pediment. The banknote is 150 x 74 mm and has a watermark which consists of an image of the Palace of Culture. Furthermore, it has a solid security thread with printed bank initials in Belarusian text.
