The Belize 2 Dollar banknote is part of the Central Bank of Belizes 2011 issues. The banknote comes with color combinations of violet, deep mauve, and blue. Depicted on the obverse side are a jade head, stela from Nim Li Punit in Toledo District, the national emblem of Belize, a school of queen triggerfish and queen angelfish, and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the tiara of Grand Duchess Vladimir and the golden jubilee necklace of Queen Victoria. The reverse of the note features a keel-billed toucan and Bairds tapir. Additionally, the Maya ruins, the Altun Ha in Belize District, the Xunantunich in Cayo District, and Lubaantun in Toledo District are also depicted. The 140 x 70 mm paper bill bears a windowed security thread with a demetalized BELIZE and a watermark that reflects a carved head of the sleeping giant and an electrotype TWO. The banknote also carries a registration device in the form of a carved Xunantunich arch. This Belize 2 Dollar banknote has been TAP authenticated and in uncirculated condition.
