The Belize 50 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Belize in 2016. It has a color combination of burgundy, pink, and olive green. Its front side depicts a jade head, two men sailing through a swing bridge, a school of queen triggerfish and queen angelfish, and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing Grand Duchess Vladimir's tiara and Queen Victoria’s golden jubilee necklace. Its reverse side depicts a keel-billed toucan and Baird’s tapir and a view of the Hawksworth Suspension Bridge, which connects San Ignacio and Santa Elena. Security features of the note include a foil angelfish, an iron rail registration device, a windowed security thread with demetalized BELIZE, and a watermark of a jaguar with electrotype FIFTY. It is 150 mm x 75 mm in size. This banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
