Bermuda 100 Dollars Banknote, 2009, P-62a, UNC

The Bermuda 100 Dollar Banknote from 2009 is part of the 2009 series that was printed with new designs aiming to clearly distinguish the note from the other currencies and to provide a sense of national pride to the Bermudian public. The obverse side features a red cardinal bird, flowers, and Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse side features the House of Assembly building, an olive bark wood tree in Hamilton, a Bermuda petrel bird, and butterflies. The banknote is 136 x 69 mm in size and contains an Optiks security thread to enhance its security features. An image of a Hibiscus flower, electrotype sailboat, and cornerstones are also made visible under a UV light.
