The Bermuda 20 Dollars is part of the family of notes issued in 2009 to commemorate the Bermuda Monetary Authoritys 40 years of service and the countrys 400 years of settlement by Sir George Somers. This particular banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty. The obverse highlights a whistling frog. It also bears a lizard, flowers, and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. On the banknotes reverse is the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse in Southampton Parish, the Saint Marks church in Smiths Parish, a flower, and butterflies. The paper bill which is 136 x 69 mm in size comes in a vertical orientation and has an Optiks security thread. It also has a watermark which consists of a hibiscus flower, an electrotype sailboat, and Cornerstones. Additionally, the Bermuda 20 Dollars has the signatures of Alan Cossar and Anthony Joaquin.
