The banknotes front features the Commissioners House building on its center and waves design on its left. On the right is a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II wearing a tiara and royal family order of King George VI. A turtle as well as a holographic sailing ship is also notable. The back of this 140 x 68 mm paper note depicts three scuba divers as they explore the Santa Lucia shipwreck. A map, a compass rose, and the nations Coat of Arms can also be found. The banknotes windowed security thread has a demetallized BERMUDA 50. Furthermore, this note has the signatures of Bermuda Monetary Authority Chairwoman Cheryl-Anne Lister and Deputy Chairman Darren Johnston. It also has a Tuna fish image on its watermark.
