This uncirculated 1 Bhutanese ngultrum banknote is dated 2013 and signed by Chairman Daw Tenzin. Its obverse side features dragons and a Khorlo. The Khorlo (also known as the Wheel of Dharma) is one of the eight symbols of good luck in Bhutan. Its reverse side features the Simtokha Dzong, a former Buddhist monastery. The note is made of a hybrid composite substrate and has measurements of 120 mm x 60 mm. Because this note was printed on a paper-polymer composite, it does not have a watermark and a security thread. The features of the note are verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
