The Bhutan 50 Ngultrum Banknote was issued by the Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan in 2000. It has a color combination of violet and brown. The note’s obverse features the 3rd king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuk. It also depicts the royal emblem and the Wheel of Dharma (Khorlo) which is one of the eight good luck symbols. The reverse displays the Tongsa Dzong flanked bja tshering which is the mythical bird of long life. The note bears the solid security thread and a watermark that reveals a ROYAL MONETARY AUTHORITY pattern. It is 155 x 70 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
