This dark brown and green 1 pound note from Biafra was introduced in 1968. Its obverse side depicts a palm tree on a beach at sunrise. Its reverse side contains the coat of arms of Biafratwo leopards supporting the shield with an eagle on top and wreaths below. The notes dimensions are 140 mm by 70 mm. It does not have a security thread nor a watermark. However, it bears the signatures of Sylvester Ugoh, the Bank of Biafra Governor, and William Okefie Uzoaga, the Bank of Biafra Director. This note is in uncirculated condition and its details are verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
