Honoring Vital Brazil

One way in which he was honored was by placing his portrait on a banknote. That banknote was the Brazil 10,000 Cruzeiros, 1993. Colored in brown, black, orange, and green. Its obverse side features Vital Brazil Mineiro da Campanha and a depiction of how snake venom is collected. Its reverse side shows two dome-shaped structures and a mucurana snake swallowing a pit viper. Security features include a pit viper head (Bothrops alternitus) registration device, a solid security thread, and a watermark of Vital Brazil.
