Elon Reeves Musk, the CEO of the famous electric car manufacturer Tesla, is considered the wealthiest man on earth with a net worth of around USD268 billion. In 1999, he co-founded the online financial services company X.com. It later merged with its competitor Confinity, Inc and was then renamed Paypal.
Musk also founded the space transportation and communications services provider SpaceX which made the launch vehicles Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy. Currently, his deal to acquire the online platform Twitter Inc has created a buzz on the internet. Especially when issues about fake accounts and spam forced a temporarily hold on the deal.
Early History of Elon Musk
Musk was born on June 28, 1971, to a Canadian model and White South African property developer father. He developed his flair for computing and video games. At the age of 12, he sold the code of one of his video game inventions to a computer magazine for about $500. Because of his dislike of the apartheid system that would oblige him to join the military services, Musk left the country for Canada in 1988. He attended Queen’s University in Ontario. In 1997, he received his bachelor’s degrees in both Physics and Economics at the University of Pennsylvania. After realizing that cyberspace holds more potential to transform the world, Musk quit his graduate school in physics at Stanford University in California.

It was built to commemorate the Voortrekkers who departed and Cape Colony in 1835-1854. The granite monument designed by Gerard Moerdijk stands on a hilltop in Pretoria, South Africa. It’s the city where Elon Musk was born and also spent his early years. The banknote also displays a power plant cooling towers, a train engine, and mine buildings and smokestacks.
