The Bolivia 10,000 Pesos is part of the 1987 provisional issues. This means they are existing stocks of previously issued notes before the peso boliviano was replaced by the new currency boliviano. This particular banknote has been given a grade of 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty. Its obverse features the countrys Coat of Arms and a portrait of the 7th President of Bolivia, Andres de Santa Cruz. On its reverse is the Palacio Legislativo or the Legislative Palace building in La Paz. As a provisional measure, the banknote bears an overprint in lithography which displays the denomination under the new currency. The banknote is 158 x 66 mm in size and is made of paper. Furthermore, it has a solid security thread with printed BANCO CENTRAL DE BOLIVIA and a watermark which consists of Andres de Santa Cruz.
