These banknotes were remaining stocks from previous notes under the old currency. This particular banknote has been given a grade of 68 by the Paper Money Guaranty. The obverse of the banknote features the national emblem and a portrait of Andres De Santa Cruz who was the 75th President of the country. The reverse depicts the Palacio Legislativo or the Legislative Palace palace building in La Paz. As a provisional measure, the Bolivia 10,000 Pesos bolivianos bears an overprint in lithography of the new denomination in Boliviano UN CENTAVO / DE BOLIVIANO /c. 1. The 158 x 66 mm paper bill has a solid security thread with printed BANCO CENTRAL DE BOLIVIA. It also has a watermark that reflects Andres de Santa Cruz.
