This uncirculated 10 Bolivianos banknote is part of the 2018 series of banknotes that bear the official name of Bolivia (Estado Plurinacional de Boliva) and won the Best New Series Award at the High Security Printing Latin America Conference in 2019. Though this note was printed and circulated from 2018 to 2019, it is dated 28 de Noviembre de 1986 and bears the signatures of Pablo Ramos Sanchez and Carlos Alberto Colodro Lopez. Its obverse side shows the Caverna de Umajalanta (Umajalanta Cavern) in Torotoro and three guerrilla revolutionaries: Jose Santos “El Tambor” Vargas, Apiaguaiki Tupa, and Eustaquio “El Moto” Mendez. Its reverse side contains a SPARK hummingbird, the landscape of Isla de Pescado (Fish Island), a Picaflor Gigante (giant hummingbird), and a Puya Raimondi bromeliad. Security features of the note include a windowed security thread with demetalized 10 and Jose Santos Vargas and a watermark that shows a pixelated drum, Jose Santos Vargas, and an electrotype 10. Its dimensions are 140 mm x 70 mm. The features on the note have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
