Bolivia 10 Bolivianos Banknote, L.1986 (2018-2019 ND), P-248, UNC

The Bolivia 10 Bolivianos is part of the family of notes issued in 2018-2019 bearing the official name of the country Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia which demonstrates the countrys multiculturalism. On its obverse side is the Drum Major Jose Santos Vargas who was also known as El Tambor Vargas, messianic leader Bolivian hero Apiaguaiki Tupa, and Eustaquio El Moto Mendez Mendez. The Caverna de Umajalanta (Umajalanta Cavern) found in Toronto is visible in the background of the note. Backdropped with a scenic landscape of Isla del Pescado situated in Salar de Uyuni salt flat, the reverse of the note features a giant hummingbird Picaflor Gigante sitting on a tree branch. A hummingbird as SPARK and a Puya Raimondi bromeliad is also displayed. This 140 x 70 mm paper bill has a pixelated drum, a portrait of Jose Santos Vargas, and an electrotype 10 as its watermarks. Moreover, it has a windowed security thread with a demetallized 10 and Jose Santos Vargas.
