Bolivia 50 Centavos de Boliviano on 500,000 Pesos Bolivianos Banknote, D.05.06.1984 (1987 ND), P-198, UNC

This green and pink 50 Centavos de Boliviano on 500,000 Pesos Bolivianos banknote is part of the provisional series of notes issued during the transition from peso boliviano to boliviano. The Central Bank of Bolivia used existing stocks of the previous family of notes and had the new value overprinted in lithography on the back. Its obverse side contains a rectangular frame with guilloches, Spanish text, a bank monogram underprint, and the head of Mercury. Its reverse side contains the lithographed overprint, Spanish text, and a bank monogram pattern in underprint. The note does not have a security thread. However, it has a CASA DA MOEDA DO BRASIL pattern watermark and measures 158 mm by 66 mm. This note is in uncirculated condition.
