This uncirculated 1,000 Brazilian cruzado note was introduced by the Central Bank of Brazil in 1988 and signed by Mailson Ferreira Da Nobrega and Elmo de Araujo Camoes. Its obverse side honors the writer Joaquim Maria Machado de Assis. Its reverse side depicts 1 de Marco Street in Rio de Janeiro in 1905. Security features include a solid security thread with printed BANCO CENTRAL DO BRASIL and a watermark of Machado de Assis. Its dimensions are 154 mm x 74 mm.
