This used 1 Brazilian centavo on a 10 cruzeiro note is a provisional banknote issued by the Central Bank of Brazil. It is an olive green, brown, and purple note that bear the signatures of Denio Chagas Nogueira and Octavio Gouvea de Bulhoes, and measures 157 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features former president Getulio Dornelles Vargas and a black circular BANCO CENTRAL 1 CENTAVO overprint. Its reverse side depicts national unity with factory buildings, smokestacks, gears, and an allegorical man kneeling with a metal shaft. The note does not have a security thread or a watermark.
