Brazil 1 Centavo on 10 Cruzeiros Banknote, 1967 ND, P-183b, Used

The Brazil 1 Centavo on 10 Cruzeiros is part of the 1967 Provisional Cruzeiro Novo issues with a pick number P-183b. Banknotes from this series bear the same designs as preceding issues but with a black circle overprint reflecting the denominations in cruzeiros novo and centavos. This particular banknote is in used condition. Its obverse side depicts the countrys 14th and 17th president Getulio Dornelles Vargas wearing a bow tie. On its obverse side is the Unidade Nacional or national unity depicting an allegorical man with a metal shaft, factory buildings and chimneys, and gears. The 157 x 67 mm paper banknote has no security thread or watermarks.
